Grandsire Triples

A. J. Pitman composed a wonderful peal of Grandsire Triples. In February 2011 I composed what appears to be the first genuine 20-part peal of Grandsire Triples, using the same part ends as in the 20-parts of Stedman Triples by Thurstans, et al. I still find it difficult to believe that nobody got in before me. Unfortunately a cyclic 6-part peal is impossible, as are peals using singles-only. 24-part peals are sort of possible but not quite. Bicycle three-parts have always interested me, as have compositions built from palindromic blocks. For other interests in Grandsire Triples, click here
